As announced on
Stray FM today Nidd United has announce that it is to form a Girls U18 team to
play in the Harrogate and District league next season. Scotton Scorchers
are already committed to the new Nidd United team and Nidd are now looking for
other girls who will be between 15 and 17 on 31st August 2013 to
join the Nidd team.
All girls are
welcome, whether they play for a club at the moment that is unable to offer
football beyond U16 junior football, have previously played for a club and want
to take up the game again, play for a school team but have not registered with
a league club, or just want to come along and try out football for the first
time.
Training will take
place during the week, probably on a Wednesday and matches are planned to be on
a Sunday from September through to April.
